DR. (SEN.) ADELEKE OLORUNNIMBE MAMORA HANDS OVER THE AFFAIRS OF THE FMSTI TO THE PERMANENT SECRETARY.

The Honourable Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. (Sen.) Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora has formally handed over the Affairs of the Ministry to the Permanent Secretary, Monilola Udoh (Mrs) on Friday 26th May, 2023 in Abuja after eleven months of dedicated and committed service to the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (FMSTI) and Nigeria in general.

The Minister who represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the commissioning of the Technology Complex built by the Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC) in the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) Abuja handed over a booklet containing his stewardship in the Ministry to the permanent Secretary, Monilola Udo (Mrs) on Friday, 26th May, 2023.

Mamora commended President Muhammadu Buhari for given him the opportunity and support to serve Nigeria and humanity in capacity as Minister. In the same vein, he thanked the Honourable Minister of State, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, permanent Secretary, Directors, Director-Generals/Chief Executive Officers of the FMSTI Agencies and Staff of the Ministry for their unflinching support to him and his colleague during their tenure.

Mamora enjoined the staff to continue to be committed to Research and Development (R&D) projects so as to ensure the achievement of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration quest for diversification of the economy through Science, Technology and Innovation (STI).

He emphasized that no nation can achieve any meaningful development, growth and self -sufficiency without commitment and proper application of Science, Technology and Innovation.

To this end, he said “I hereby, formally hand over the document of my Stewardship as the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation in the last eleven months to the permanent Secretary, Monilola Udoh (Mrs.) I am grateful to you and the Management of the FMSTI for unalloyed support to me and my colleague, the Minister of State, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh”.

The Permanent Secretary commended the Minister and the Minister of State for their giant studies during their tenure and wished them success in their future endeavors.
