FG WILL CONTINUE TO ENHANCE SERVICE DELIVERY IN THE COUNTRY

Minister of Science Technology and Innovation, Dr. (Sen.)  Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora,  has  said that the Ministry will continue to  work with SERVICOM for desired and effective service delivery to Nigeria.

The Minister said this when the National Coordinator, SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna  Akajemeli paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry today, in Abuja.

According to the Minister, Service delivery is Government’s business, which is necessary for socio-economic development of the country.

To this end, he enjoined Nigerians to exercise good attitude and commitment for the progress of the country.

 He therefore, called for dignity of Labor which involves rewarding the people in accordance with their performances, noting that there is no service delivery without dignity of labour.

In respect to perception, the Minister also said ‘‘people should see things the way they are, not the other way round, and justify them in accordance with their organization’s policies’’.

 In the same vein, Mamora called on the SERVICOM unit to prioritize its projects so as to utilize its fund judiciously.

Speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Monilola Udoh, commended SERVICOM for the honour done to the Ministry for being adjudged the best Ministry in Team B, for the year, 2022.

She further reiterated the commitment of the Ministry to work with SERVICOM for better and improved Service delivery, in the year 2023, and beyond.

Earlier, The National Coordinator, SERVICOM , Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, stated that the aim of their visit is to collaborate with the Ministry for enhance technological development of STI Sector for more impactful result to the citizens and customers of the Ministry.

The National Coordinator further said that the delegation’s visit is to institionalize the citizen centre service delivery in the STI sector as well as revitalize the Ministry’s global SERVICOM committee.
